Welcome, I'm Ashley Sewell.

 

In my professional career in forestry spanning over 40 years has provided me with a solid background in the holistic management of native forest and the establishment and silvicultural management of cabinet and hardwood timber plantations. We can assist you to achieve your aims and long-term goals.

Farm forestry Farm forestry is a growing interest in our community. It is important to provide long- term commercial options, habitat rehabilitation and benefits to the biodiversity/ conservation values, whilst encouraging a sustainable option in farm forestry for the long-term viability of our rural holdings.

 My Goals and aims:

• To encourage and assist the farm forestry community in the region to achieve their ambitions.
• To develop a viable local timber industry.
• To promote and foster the commercial viability, ecological sustainability and the management of tree crops in plantation and native forest on private and public lands.
